WHO IS TOURII?
Tourii is a web3 project promoting the unique regions of Japan through storytelling narrations, adapted from a mybrid of the yaoyorozu no kamigami(八百万の神々) and yokai(妖怪) legends.
Our aim is reimagining tourism with NFT technology, breathing new life into places that are least explored, revitalising century old businesses that are on the verge of closing down, and there are plenty of such in Japan.
CONCEPT
Tourii will promote its’ partner’s destinations through storytelling, adapted from Japan’s famous Yaoyorozu no kamigami (八百万の神々) legends and Yokai (妖怪) folklores. Japan’s myths and legends remain one of the most read and searched genre online and offline.
The god apprentice(NFT Holders) passes through the torii gate at Harajiri Waterfall, he takes on the form of a human in the human world; the NFT is a representation of the spiritual form (the virtual world), and ‘Bungo Ono City’ is the place where this adventure begins, as the starting point.
The torii gate links between the spirit world (TOURII metaverse) and the real world (Bungo Ono City).
Tourii does not simply just follow the actual story of the Kamigami(八百万の神々), but rather takes reader to an era before they become gods.
Tourii storytelling is free to view to all, you don’t have to own a Tourii NFT to enjoy the storyline.
